What is the Monsters We Hide?
The Monsters we Hide is a Western (id like to say a bit of Eldtrich horror type themes) Mystery game. You play as 4 different characters as you navigate the tradgetiest your camp has endured since an important death. Figguring out what happened as you explore the world you uncover mysteries and monsters along the way while also trying to escape the country.
Which software are you going to use to make this game?
I will be using RPG Maker MZ to make it, I have played a little bit around in it and I think it can be possible to make the game.
Will these be a upper 3rd person head view or side scroller?
Originally I was going to make an upper above head view like most games, but inspiration from the game Tails Noir (Backbone) made me want to do a side scroller instead.
What games inspired The Monsters We Hide?
I feel RDR2 is very obvious but games like Tails Noir, 8:11, Undertale/Deltarune, Deadplate, are definitely a big inspiration for the game.
What software did you use to make the music?
Band labs! Ive never made music properly before so its definitely something new but I hope the more I make, the better it will be.
